Since 2016, The Butternut has led the mission to bring Toronto healthful and nostalgic bakes that are loved without any guilt. We opened the doors to our bakery in the Junction community and became Toronto’s first all natural baking company to specialize in 100% gluten-free, paleo and naturally low-carb bakes.
Our specialty is crafting beautiful and delicious bakes that you can feel good about eating. We create each and every recipe to be nutritious, energy boosting, and really, really scrumptious – our Butternut philosophy means never sacrificing quality or flavour.
We bake our food with the highest quality ingredients possible that are always natural and free from gluten, grains, cane sugar, refined oils and fats, preservatives, artificial ingredients, flavours or colours. We use organic and locally sourced foods when possible and never compromise on our standards for high quality ingredients.
